Helping you travel with peace of mind; we offer multiple services to ensure you and your passengers are secure and comfortable.

Driving

The assessment process is designed to review your ability to keep you, your passengers and other road users safe following a change to an existing or a newly diagnosed medical condition. Or It may be that you need to try adaptations following an accident or illness.

Motorbike

If you are looking to get back on you bike after an illness or change in your medical condition, we work with local motorbike schools to offer fitness to ride cognitive assessments.

LGV / HGV / PSV

If you are looking to get back to driving a lorry or bus following an illness, newly diagnosed or change to an existing medical condition. We offer cognitive assessments for HGV, LGV and PSV drivers.

Vehicle access

Our access assessments are tailored to an individual’s needs and are designed to assist you to get in and out of a vehicle with ease, as a driver or passenger. We will discuss your expectations and the options available to you.

Equipment loading

There are a number of options available to help with stowing mobility equipment in a vehicle, this may include considering a particular technique, or vehicle adaptations to remove the physical element of moving and lifting for you.

We provide cabin assessments using a replica aircraft cabin, to offers information and practical advice on flying with a disability including transfer options, specialist seating and support systems available on the aircraft. We also look at equipment available to make your journey easier and safer.

Car seat assessment

This assessment will provide you with the security and freedom to travel knowing that your child is safe, secure, and comfortable.

Bugzi

Bugzi is a powered wheelchair for children aged one to six or up to 25kg. Find out how you can access these products, for children to discover the excitement of being mobile.

Driving school

Our instructors have a wealth of knowledge in adaptations and medical conditions and work closely with our Occupational Therapist and Driving Advisors, to ensure you get the most from your lessons.

Hubs

Our Hubs team are here to help you find alternative transport options, whether that be looking at traveling by public transport using a wheelchair, unsure about travel options with a physical or hidden disability or if you’re unfortunately no longer able to drive.

powered wheelchair and mobility scooters

PWMS is a service for people who would benefit from a Powered outdoor Wheelchair or Mobility Scooter. This service complements existing NHS wheelchair services, whose criteria for the provision of a powered wheelchair normally excludes equipment for outdoor use only.
