RDAC is also here to help you find alternative accessible transport, when driving is not an option. We can support you to tackle longer journeys or those closer to home, when travelling by public transport when using a wheelchair, mobility equipment or assistive devices.

The team can help by advising on the following:

  • Accessible buses and coaches
  • Accessible access rail and air travel
  • Community transport
  • Your rights as a passenger with a disability or additional need
  • Hiring or purchasing the right scooters and wheelchairs
  • Local, national, and international travel planning
  • Accessible venues and locations
  • Lifestyle choices and inclusive activities

We can help you to consider exactly what you need to support you to get out and about, as well as helping find the most acessible way to travel. And if you don’t like travelling alone, we also provide advice on support available with personal assistance whilst travelling.

For further information please get in touch via our contact form, call us on 0300 300 2240 or alternatively email us hubs@rdac.co.uk.

RDAC are commited to reducing the challenges of not being able to get out and about to stay connected.
